RMDI Inside Rep

An inside sales rep in your own AI

For outside reps in medical, dental and device sales. Text it like a coworker who knows your price list. It drafts the paperwork between appointments. You check it and send it.

What is RMDI Inside Rep?

RMDI Inside Rep is a set of four skills that turns your own Claude account into an inside sales rep. You text it from your phone and it drafts priced proposals from your price list, exchange emails from box photos, and a 4- and 13-week sales forecast. Small programs do the math. It never sends anything; you do.

Transcript

Your customer wants a quote before lunch, and you're in the parking lot. Meet RMDI Inside Rep, an inside sales rep in your own AI. Text it the order, and a priced proposal comes back from your price list. Every price is calculated, never guessed. Snap the boxes, and it writes the exchange email. Ask, and it forecasts your next four weeks. It drafts. You send. Setup takes about ten minutes.

Setting up RMDI Inside Rep takes about ten minutes on a computer, and you only do it once. One thing first: your price list belongs to your company, so check your AI policy before you upload the real one. Today, we'll use the practice files. Step one. Sign in at claude.ai. Open Settings, then Capabilities, and turn on code execution. That's what lets it run the math. While you're in Settings, open Privacy, and turn off Help improve our AI models, so your chats aren't used for training. Step two. Go to Customize, then Skills, and upload the four files from the kit: setup, proposal, exchange and forecast. Switch each one on. Step three. Make a project called My territory. It keeps your files in one place. Step four. Open a chat in that project and type: Set me up. It asks for one thing at a time: your name, your price list, your accounts and your sales. Type skip for anything you don't have yet. Your price list alone is enough for proposals. That's it. Now open the Claude app on your phone, go to My territory, and text it like a coworker.

Proposals: text the order, get a priced quote (0:57)
Transcript

Pricing a quote shouldn't have to wait until you're back at your desk. Text it like you'd text a coworker: 12 devices at 35% off, connectors at 30%, sterile packs at 20%, and the instrument kit at no charge. A priced proposal comes back, with every line pulled from your price list. Customer pushing back on price? Say, make the devices 40. It reruns the whole quote, and the total updates. If something doesn't match, like a typo in a category name, it tells you and asks what you meant. It doesn't guess. Want it to look like your own proposals? Share one you've sent before. New quotes copy the layout, and the numbers come fresh from your price list. When it looks right, say, save it. It logs the quote, so later it can tell you which quotes turned into orders. Say it twice, and it knows it's already saved. It drafts. You check it, and you send it.

Exchanges and your forecast (0:57)
Transcript

Exchanges shouldn't eat your afternoon. Snap the boxes, or just type them, and say what the customer wants instead. It reads the product and lot numbers, finds the account number on your list, and writes the email. If the counts don't match, say 3 going back and 2 coming in, it stops and asks before anything goes out. When it's right, tap copy, paste it into your own email, and send. It never sends anything on its own. Now, your number. Upload your sales once a month, then ask where you're headed. You get a low, likely and high for the next 4 and 13 weeks, weighted toward your most recent weeks. And if your sales file is out of date, it tells you. It also keeps score on the quotes you've saved. When a customer orders most of what you quoted, it counts as won, and it tells you if it was only partial. Text it. Check it. Send it.

About these videos: the narrator is an AI voice and the rep in the opening scenes is AI-generated. The phone screens are simulated, but every number, email and total on them is the real output of the programs, run on made-up practice files.

What can it do for an outside sales rep?

Who it's for: medical and device reps and dental reps who quote from a price list, handle product exchanges and report a forecast.

How does it calculate proposals and forecasts?

Small programs do every calculation, not the chatbot, so the same request gives the same answer every time. Every answer with numbers names the program that computed it. Here is exactly what they do. Worked examples with real program output are on their own page.

Questions

Does the AI do the math on my proposals?

No. Small programs do every calculation, so the same request gives the same total every time. Every answer with numbers names the program that computed it.

Does it work with ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot?

It works with Claude today. A ChatGPT version that runs the same programs is built and waiting on testing. Microsoft Copilot works only through a company's Microsoft 365, set up by its IT team, and has not been tested.

Is it only for dental reps?

No. It works with any price list in a spreadsheet: devices, implants, components, instrument kits or consumables. The skills read the products and categories from your own price list, so nothing is tied to one product line.

What does it need from me?

Your price list as a spreadsheet (CSV or Excel) is enough for proposals. Your account list adds account numbers to exchange emails, and 12 months of sales turns on the forecast. Every step can be skipped.

Rolling it out to a sales team?

For mid-market and enterprise medical, dental and device companies, we build custom skills around how your team already sells: your price book and discount tiers, your approval rules, your exchange and RMA process, and the forecast your managers roll up. The skills run in your company's Claude Team or Enterprise account, under your admin controls, so your pricing stays in your account, not ours.
