RMDI Inside Rep is an inside sales rep that runs in your own Claude account. Outside reps in medical device, surgical and dental sales text it between cases and calls. It prices proposals from your price list, drafts exchange emails from box photos and forecasts your next 4 and 13 weeks. You check and send.
Can it price a proposal from my own price list?
Yes. Upload your price list as a spreadsheet, then text the request: "Proposal for Valley Surgery Center: 6 devices at 20% off, 10 connectors at 25%, instrument kit no charge." A small program prices every line, so the same request gives the same total every time.
- Overall discounts, category discounts ("25% on components") and no-charge items.
- A warning on any price below the floor on your price list.
- Laid out like a proposal you've sent before, if you upload one.
- Unknown product numbers and typos get flagged, not guessed.
Can it handle product exchanges?
Yes. Photograph the boxes and say what the customer wants instead. It reads the product and lot numbers from the labels, finds the account number on your account list and drafts the exchange email. If units going back don't equal units coming in, it stops and asks.
Can it forecast my territory?
Yes. Upload 12 months of sales and ask "Where am I headed the next 4 weeks?" It gives low, likely and high for the next 4 and 13 weeks, counts open quotes by age, and shows which quotes turned into orders. See the formulas and a worked forecast.
What about company data and patient information?
- It runs inside your own Claude account. Your price list, accounts and sales go only there, never to RMDI.
- Your price list and customer list may belong to your employer. Check your company's AI policy before uploading them, and start with the practice files.
- Turn off "Help improve our AI models" in Claude's privacy settings so your chats aren't used for training.
- Never upload patient information: no patient names, charts or case notes.
What does it not do?
- It never sends anything. It drafts; you send.
- It doesn't read your inbox, place orders or run on a schedule.
- It doesn't connect to your company's CRM or order system. It works from the files you upload.

Does it work for surgical and device products, not just dental implants?
Yes. It reads the products, categories, list prices and floor prices from whatever price list you upload. Nothing in the skills is tied to one product line.
